MEASURES COVID-19

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ecoener has prioritized the adoption of protection and hygiene measures for all its employees in Spain, Guatemala, Panama and Honduras. Following the recommendations issued by the World Health Organization and different governments and health authorities, Ecoener created protocols to ensure the health of its staff since the start of the pandemic.

Likewise, it continued with the construction, in accordance with what was established during the State of Alarm, of five wind farms on the island of Gan Canaria, where it also implemented the recommended safety and hygiene protocols. This way, the activity of all areas of the company has been maintained since March.

IMPLEMENTED MEASURES

Basic protection measures:

  • Permanent use of masks in all our offices.
  • Personal protection measures such as the frequent washing of hands, avoiding the touching of the eyes, the nose and the mouth, and maintaining a minimum distance of 2 meters.
  • Antiseptic gels, masks and gloves have been made available to all people who make up Ecoener.

Protective measures in the office:

  • A separation of two meters between workstations.
  • Antiseptic gel dispensers.
  • Gun thermometer with which the temperature of employees is taken every morning and of all those who for some reason visit Ecoener’s offices.
  • Disinfection mat at the main entrance.
  • Air purifiers in all rooms of the office.
  • Ozone machines that are used only at night.

In addition to the indicated measures, Ecoener has carried out three immunoglobin-SARS-CoV-2 tests on its workers and will continue to do so in the coming months to ensure their health. Likewise, training and communication work has been carried out to inform of the adopted measures and to remind employees that they must continue to comply with hygiene regulations to avoid infections.

Ecoener will continue to maintain these protection measures and will continuously monitor the current situation in the event of any possible changes for if new actions are necessary.
