Ecoener consolidates itself in the Canary archipelago

All the projects presented in the wind auction of the Canary Islands by the Ecoener group have been chosen.

All the projects promoted by the Ecoener group have obtained a subsidy in the wind auction of the Canary archipelago, for a total of 3.6 million euros. Thus, Ecoener is the only company that has obtained financial aid for all its projects. In addition, it has obtained the third best score of the thirty projects presented in the auction.

This award reinforces the already established presence that Ecoener has in the islands. The group already owns two parks in operation in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Once these five new parks have been built, it will become the company with the highest installed capacity on the island of Gran Canaria: 51.6 MW.

In this way, Ecoener reinforces its commitment to clean energy and the reduction of polluting gases in the archipelago, and is positioned as one of the main promoters of renewable energy in the Canary Islands. The CEO of the company, Luis de Valdivia Castro, declares that in Ecoener:

we continue to be unstoppable in our contribution to the energy transition towards a more sustainable world."
