Ecoener participates in renewable energy forum in Croatia organised by ICEX

Ecoener has been invited to take part in an event on the renewable energy business in Croatia. The forum was held by video call and offered an in-depth analysis of the various green energy opportunities in the country, discussing its geographical, historical, economic and population characteristics.

The forum was organised by Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Spanish Trade Office in Zagreb, with the support of the Croatian Ministry of Energy and the Environment. Seven Spanish companies participated in the event alongside more than 40 Croatian companies.

Ecoener was represented by its Head of International DevelopmentDavid Coll, who participated actively in the event. The forum covered three key topics for the sector and the renewable energy business in Croatia:

– The country’s efforts to ensure energy access for the population with guaranteed energy supply at the lowest price.

– The significant development capacity of renewable energies in Croatia, including major investments in photovoltaic energy expected in the near future.

– The large-scale exploration underway in a range of fields to resolve electrical power cuts and issues with supply on the various islands, deploying renewable energy systems.
