Ecoener remains committed to young people and sport

Ecoener wanted to extend its support for young people and sport by collaborating with the Castillo Basketball Club. The club was founded almost 40 years ago in Castillo del Romeral, a Canary Islands town located in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, where Ecoener owns 12 photovoltaic plants and 8 wind farms.

The agreement signed reflects Ecoener’s commitment to support and promote local projects where its facilities are located, municipalities with which we coexist on a daily basis.

Among the initiatives that the club is taking forward, Ecoener is the main sponsor of “Campus Recre”. A project that promotes sport in one of the schools in the area, CEIP Pancho Guerra in Castillo del Romeral. The programme consists of giving basketball classes once a week during break time, aimed at children between the ages of 4 and 8.

Since its inception, Ecoener has been promoting initiatives that focus on the individual.
