Students from IES Santa Lucía de Gran Canaria visit Ecoener’s photovoltaic plants

Last week, the students of the Electricity and Electronics Intermediate Cycle Course at IES Santa Lucía (Gran Canaria) visited some of Ecoener’s photovoltaic installations on the island.

They were able to see first-hand a photovoltaic installation under construction and another that is already in operation. In addition, they also visited the Llanos de la Aldea electricity substation, where the operation and the energy distribution structure itself was explained to them. The visit was guided mainly by the site manager of the photovoltaic division, an operation and maintenance technician and Ecoener’s construction manager.

With this visit, Ecoener shows its support in the work of making the renewable energy sector better known and at the same time contributing to the training of young people who are developing their professional future in this field.
