Xestosa Hydroelectric Power Plant

The Xestosa hydroelectric plant is located in the highest part of the La Mariña Occidental district (Lugo, Spain), on the coast of the Cantabrian Sea.

In a location that is sheltered from the wind, the plant has a weir and forebay diverting the flow of the river to the plant through a penstock. The building is in tune with traditional local architecture.
