Cumayasa 2 Photovoltaic Plant

Energy supply for 48,000 households in the Dominican Republic

36.5MWp Installed Power

The two photovoltaic parks of Cumayasa 1 and 2 have a production capacity of 192 GWh per year, which is equivalent to the consumption of 48,000 households. The facilities will avoid the annual emission of 140,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and the consumption of 17,000 tons of fossil fuels.

During the construction of these photovoltaic farms, female employment was promoted in the area. The team of women working on the construction of these farms reached 28% of the workforce as of December 31, 2022, performing administrative and site execution tasks.

However, an important milestone has been the incorporation of local women into the workforce of site operators, accounting for 14% of the workforce.
