Sustainability

Our priority is taking care of the environment

At Ecoener, sustainability is a fundamental principle not only of our business, but also of our management model. It's another dimension of our commitment to excellence in how we operate.

We have always focused on the long term and committed to value creation, ensuring balance and respect for the natural habitat and the development of the communities where we operate.

We carefully manage the impacts we generate on people and the environment, contributing responsibly to the progress of society.

Responsible Business

In our day-to-day operations, we act responsibly, guided by the Code of Conduct and the Sustainability Policy, reflecting our corporate commitments to addressing current challenges and enabling more sustainable development.

Evaluations

Ecoener consolidates its leadership position through ESG ratings or assessments that measure its environmental, social and governance performance.

Social Commitmen

We believe that conducting our business responsibly means sharing and creating value with those who are directly or indirectly affected by it, whether they are our workers and collaborators or the local communities we engage with in the places where we operate.

Just as we know each installation requires a specific design to safeguard the environment, a commitment to the territories where we work is also necessary.

Environmental Commitment

Environmental sustainability is part of our essence. Our renewable energy installations and operations respect the environment, as we are custodians of the most valuable legacy we have: nature. We aim to generate energy that helps minimize the effects of climate change and fosters a sustainable model. Therefore, our installations respect the environment.

Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals

Ecoener is an active part of the 2030 Agenda. We understand our capacity to act locally contributes positively to achieving the Agenda's Goals. Our commitment is solid. These are the SDGs identified as priorities, and through our activities, we generate direct impacts.

  • SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation
  • SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy
  • SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
  • SDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities
  • SDG 12: responsible consumption and production
  • SDG 13: Climate action
  • SDG 15: Life on land

United Nations Global Compact

We are a partner in the United Nations Global Compact. Ecoener thus commits to aligning its operations and strategies with the ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment, anti-corruption, and to adopting measures in support of the United Nations’ goals on sustainable development. With a long-term value creation perspective, we always take care of the impacts we generate on people and the environment, contributing responsibly to the progress of society.
