Ecoener strengthens its responsible waste management in Colombia

The Sunnorte photovoltaic plant has made several deliveries of waste from the construction of the plant to the environmental association Asociación de Recuperadores Ambientales de Ocaña. In the process, Ecoener has delivered:

• 1789 kg of cardboard.
• 98 units of wooden pallets.

In addition, low-voltage cable waste has been delivered and the Association has built a machine to strip the cable and remove the aluminium. The waste is sold by the association to authorised entities, which internally process the material. The economic profit from the sale of the waste goes to the association for the improvement of its activities.
