San Bartolomé Wind Farm

The wind farm is in San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Grand Canary Island, Spain), next to the Llanos de la Aldea wind farm.

This farm is smaller than the Llanos de la Aldea farm but it is built with the same philosophy of adaptation to the surroundings. The wind turbines are located in an area that is famous for its greenhouses. This farm is an outstanding example of using the island’s natural resources for energy production.
