Arnoya Hydroelectric Power Plant

Like the Peneda plant, the Arnoya plant draws water from the Arnoya river and is in the same municipality of Ribeiro (Orense, Spain).

The electromechanical equipment, the surge tank, diversion channel and penstock are all located underground; above ground we built a walkway that is used by hikers. As a result, the plant blends into the surrounding forest.
